McDonald’s has secured its future home in Rockford, Illinois, on a 1.67-acre outlot parcel within a Walmart-anchored shopping center. The iconic Golden Arches will join a strong lineup of national retailers, including Arby’s, Dollar Tree, and ALDI, in one of the area’s high-traffic retail corridors.

On March 17, 2026, our own David Cordova completed the lease of Sports & Ortho P.C. at Garrity Square, located along the highly visible Deerfield Road corridor. The practice will provide physical therapy services focused on wellness, rehabilitation, and injury prevention to this affluent community.

On May 28, 2026, Dream’s Pizza finalized a 3,625 SF lease at Hazel Crest Center, bringing its popular Chicago-style pizza to one of the Southland’s premier grocery-anchored shopping centers.

We want to thank Gregory Blade for completing this transaction. Building on its established location in Calumet Park, Dream’s Pizza brings a loyal customer base and a strong reputation for quality food and service.

As a valuable addition to Hazel Crest Center’s tenant mix, the restaurant will serve shoppers, residents, and visitors alike while further strengthening a center that is currently 93% occupied. In January 2026, Terri Cox and Brandon Nieves of Matanky Realty Group, alongside Skip Martin of Envision Realty Advisors Midwest, successfully executed a 40,000 SF lease for Restoration Hardware Outlet in Vernon Hills.

The luxury home furnishings brand will join The Marketplace, marking a strategic relocation from Northbrook. This move positions the retailer to engage the vibrant Vernon Hills trade area better while maintaining a strong regional presence across the northern suburbs.

The new location strengthens Restoration Hardware Outlet’s retail footprint and enhances its accessibility within a high-traffic suburban market. We wish the team continued success as they expand and serve customers in their new home.

The United States Army and United States Navy recruiting office is a perfect fit for Marshfield Plaza, benefiting from its highly visible, convenient location and steady traffic.

On May 28, 2026, this 3,448 SF lease transaction was executed smoothly, supported by an established relationship between the tenant and the brokerage team, which helped streamline communication and move the deal efficiently to completion. Tide Laundromat and Boost Mobile are among the latest retailers to join the award-winning shopping center in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood, further strengthening an already premier tenant lineup.

The center is home to leading national brands, including ALDI, Burlington, Five Below, Chase, and Foot Locker.

Tide Laundromat is expected to join the center approximately four months after the construction notice date (TBD), occupying a 4,500 SF suite. We would also like to thank Terri Cox for successfully bringing this deal across the finish line.
