Yitzi Matanky serves as Director of Property Management and Acquisitions at Matanky Realty Group, where he oversees property management operations across the company’s commercial portfolio and actively sources, underwrites, and evaluates acquisition opportunities. His work is centered on maximizing asset performance, strengthening tenant relationships, and implementing operational systems that enhance efficiency, accountability, and long-term value creation.

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Matanky brings a disciplined blend of operational leadership and real estate expertise. Before joining the company, he spent a decade in the nonprofit sector as Director of Operations, overseeing maintenance and capital improvement initiatives across a 260-acre campus. That experience shaped his practical, systems-driven approach to budgeting, capital planning, and project execution.

At Matanky Realty Group, he is actively involved in asset repositioning strategies, capital improvement programs, lease administration, financial oversight, and portfolio-level planning across retail properties throughout the greater Chicagoland area. He works closely with ownership, tenants, municipalities, and internal teams to align property operations with broader investment and growth objectives.

Matanky earned his MBA with a concentration in Real Estate in January 2026. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing and a Master of Science in Education from Yeshiva University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Matanky serves in leadership roles within several nonprofit and community organizations, including Vice President of Development at Hillel Torah, Vice President of Operations and Grounds at Camp Moshava Wild Rose, and Vice President of RZC Mizrachi of Chicago.
